than i am enjoying here 

the laughters of a group 

pervade my mind

overpower my senses

that i’m not there

not there with them 

hits me square

and the need to be 

is overwhelming 

but i can’t be everywhere 

all at once

so i’d rather enjoy what i have

where i am 

and hope that

when i go home that day

my mind understands where i’m coming from 

that i cannot be everywhere
