House of Cards

Friends and foes, assemble all

Come here

Witness the house of cards fall

The pyramid of paper walls

Watch it, as it goes tumbling down

A small tear in a card

The wind blowing too hard

Is that what caused it you ask?

Ha! Could be many things at once

Or none of it at all

Analyze the damage

But not too closely

The deck has eyes

It sees you scrutinize the collapse

Talk about it, sure

But watch your volume

The things you say, how you say

Even walls have ears, don’t they?

Come one, come all

Just because of a tiny tear

In a foundational card, watch;

Watch the house of cards fall
